Richard Weiss Retires May 15, 2018

After 37 years of practice in the legal profession, Richard Weiss retired on May 15, 2018. From Mr. Weiss’s letter to his clients:  “I am extremely grateful for your trust in me and my firm, and for the opportunity to have served so many clients over a career which has been a source of great personal satisfaction to me…I am retiring with the satisfaction of knowing that my cases will be handled by outstanding attorneys with whom I have practiced for many years.”

Richard joined our firm in 1978 as an intern, after first serving in the United States Navy. He represented injured people throughout his legal career at all levels of the Washington State Courts, at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, and before the Office of Administrative Law Judges. During the course of his career, Richard served as Chair of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) Workers’ Compensation Section.

We are sorry to see Richard leave, but we thank him for his integrity and hard work, and his dedication to his clients and our firm. His wit and wisdom will be greatly missed. We wish him all the best in this new phase of life.
