
David Lauman
received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Colby
College in 1993. He then went to Seattle University School of law
where he received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1997.
Mr. Lauman interned with Small, Snell, Weiss & Comfort during law
school and stayed on with the firm after graduating. He has served
as chair of the workers’ compensation section of the Washington
State Association for Justice. Through his involvement with the
Washington State Association for Justice, Mr. Lauman has helped
draft and get passed into law numerous changes to the workers’
compensation laws. These laws have directly benefited workers who
have been injured on the job.
Mr. Lauman was named a “Rising Star” by Washington Law and Politics
magazine in 2005 and 2009. He has also given several lectures and
written numerous articles about workers’ compensation law.
When not at work, Mr. Lauman enjoys spending time with his wife and
daughter. He also enjoys playing soccer and traveling. |
